Welcoming Fr. Gabrial Habeb
Join us in welcoming and receiving Fr. Gabrial Habeb. Please come and join us in this great event.
An ancient, apostolic Christian community in Carmel, Indiana — worshiping God in the fullness of the Orthodox faith handed down from the Apostles. Whoever you are, come and see.
The Coptic Orthodox Church was founded by St. Mark the Apostle in Alexandria, Egypt, in the first century. For nearly two thousand years we have preserved the apostolic faith, worship, and sacraments of the early Church — and now that same faith is alive and growing in central Indiana.
Founded by St. Mark the Evangelist, author of the second Gospel, in the first century AD.
The Divine Liturgies of St. Basil, St. Gregory or St. Cyril are prayed in English, Coptic, and Arabic, connecting heaven and earth.
A church family from every background, united in Christ and eager to welcome you.
“Beloved, it is my joy to welcome you to St. Moses the Strong Coptic Orthodox Church. Our church is named after a man who was transformed by the mercy of Christ, from a life of violence to a life of profound peace and holiness. His story is the story of every one of us: no one is beyond the reach of God’s love.
Whether you were raised in the Coptic Orthodox Church, are exploring ancient Christianity for the first time, or are simply curious, our doors and our hearts are open to you. Come and worship with us.”
